Press Release for Woman Boutique Show:
The women of the UAE are playing an increasing role in the economic and financial sectors of the country. Another step forward in providing encouragement and opportunity to them is the launch of the region’s first women-centric event - the Woman Boutique Show, to be held from the 14th to 16th of May 2009.
The event presents an avenue for individuals of different ages, nationalities and economic backgrounds from all over the globe to meet, share their talent and discuss business opportunities. Established as well as aspiring fashion and jewellery designers, artists, entrepreneurs and lifestyle experts of local and international repute will exhibit their skills and network.
“145 exhibitors of various nationalities have already confirmed their participation in the event of which 95% are women, the showcasing products will be exclusively women centric”- Organisers pointed out
The Woman Boutique Show is being organised by Red Orange events, based in Dubai, who specialise in concept-events and marketing services. Meghna Kothari, heading the Red Orange team, says, “The inspiration behind the event was simple - we wanted to provide a platform for people who provide solely women-focused products and services to come together and exhibit their talents to develop them into business enterprises.”
Iconic personalities like the internationally acclaimed fashion designer Walid Atallah, renowned beautician Shahnaz Hussain, and established local make-up artist and TV personality Joelle Mardinian, among many other international designers are participating in the event, providing women the opportunity to interact with their role models and learn from their success stories.
“This region has not seen an event dedicated entirely to women’s products and services on this scale before. This initiative, to create a platform for the networking of like-minded individuals, is therefore a first for Dubai, if not the region. I am certain that the ideas and collaborations generated here will do justice to the effort behind it and encourage us to make this an annual event,” says Meghna on the future of the Woman Boutique Show.
The Woman Boutique Show 2009 holds promise as a unique concept event designed to encourage talented and enterprising men and women from around the world to utilise the potential of Dubai as a business hub.
